We are a London based (& Somerset & Saigon & Provence & wherever our travels take us) furniture and homewares design house working with top end retailers and interior designers in the mid to high end of the product spectrum. We have technical, compliance and sourcing skills to enable our clients to bring to market innovative and high performing products.

 

Our furniture ethos encompasses clean lines and classic elements with a modern twist using natural and interesting materials, real wood veneers, marble, ceramic, slate, terrazzo, cement and hand applied finishes including gold & silver leaf, eglomise and faux shagreen.

 

Studio Hugo upholstery has a fresh take with high quality fabrics from renowned mills and fabric houses presenting designs that are individual and hand made by British craftsmen.

 

We work closely with producers wherever they may be from Asia to the America’s and all in between to understand what can be achieved with materials and finishes to ensure a perfect final product. Our journey has taken us to over 30 countries exploring design, fabrics, materials and methods giving us an insight into what can be achieved and the education to design products that can be put into commercial production.

 

The Studio Hugo team has formal design, engineering and CAD qualifications mixed with open minds and a love of design !
